Position:                    Vehicle Body Builder/Assembler
Location:                    Batley
Employment type:    Full Time Permanent

 You will be required to fabricate, assemble and install body work to a range of Fire Service vehicles. This will include making framework and panelling along with various brackets and body parts. You will be building sub-assemblies and installing items such as roller shutters, sliding draws & trays, fitting doors, door handles, locking mechanisms and hinges.

You will need to be confident in working with aluminium, stainless steel and ideally plastic, using hand tools and powered hand tools as well as workshop equipment such as guillotines, box folders, vertical drills and power saws.

The most suitable candidates will be fully skilled and experienced. Previous experience of specialist vehicle building/fitting/assembly would be an advantage but not essential, as long as you can demonstrate the required skills.

Working Hours:
39 hours weekly
Mon – Thurs 07.30 – 4.30
Fri 07.30 – 12.30

 

Postion:                     Auto Electrician
Location:                    Batley

Fire Vehicle manufacturer currently looking for experienced, conscientious Auto Electrician.

As part of our team you will carry out electrical installation work on a wide range of vehicles. This includes installation of bespoke wiring harnesses and emergency vehicle systems.

Ideal candidates will be fully skilled with recognised qualifications and knowledge of 24v and 12v electrical systems. Previous experience of emergency vehicles would be an advantage but not essential.

Working Hours:
39 hours weekly
Mon – Thurs 07.30 – 4.30
Fri 07.30 – 12.30.

 

Postion:                    Service Department Administrator
Location:                    Batley
Employment type:    Full Time Permanent

Provide general administrative support for the Service Director and the Service Operations Manager with particular emphasis on the areas of responsibility defined below.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Assist the Service Operations Manager to organise scheduled servicing work efficiently, and at pre-arranged frequencies, in  such a way as to spread the work evenly through the year.
  • Organise paper work and make travel arrangements for the service engineers offsite visits.
  •  Process engineers travel/subsistence expenses ensuring approval by the Service Director prior to expenses being paid.
  •  Maintain records of service engineers chargeable and unchargeable time as required.
  • Chase up Purchase Order Numbers
  • Type up and maintain all Job Cards and records on Sales Logix database
  • Provide clerical support for the Service Department.
  • By use of Sales Logix maintain an efficient system of vehicle and equipment records.

Ideally experience in a vehicle/engineering background would be an advantage.

HOURS AND OFFICE ENVIRONMENT

40 hours weekly – 8 Hour day (normal 8:30 start but can be flexible)
Open busy office.

SKILLS

  • Good communication and telephone skills.
  • Good typing skills, IT skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, Sage line 500
  • Good standard in English and Maths.

 

 

Position:    Automotive Electrical Engineer
Location:  Batley

SUMMARY JOB DESCRIPTION:           

Plan and provide electrical information, CAN programs and wiring schematics to allow effective and efficient vehicle builds.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsibility for the planning of the electrical systems and installations of each build, to meet the requirements of the end user. This will include selection of electrical components and systems.

  • Generation of drawings to allow sub contract wiring harness manufacture.

  • CANbus programming.

  • Generation of schematic electrical circuit diagrams for each completed build.

  • Liaison with other Angloco departments, including technical support as required.

General
Hours: Mon – Fri, 8.00 am – 4.30 pm

Salary:  Dependant on relevant skills & experience
