Hydraulic Rescue Tools
Weber-Hydraulik rescue tools offer high performance operating forces combined with low weight. Their unique design push-button actuation enables operators to achieve fine and accurate control together with rapid and efficient extrication.
Cutters
The strongest of the many cutters available is the S 270-71. This is one of world's strongest, supplying up to 71 tonnes cutting force, and with a 270 mm opening, yet weighing only 17.4 kg. It is a fine example of Weber-Hydraulik's continuing development of its range.
Spreaders
Meeting the enhanced demands of high-specification rescue with today's Fire and Rescue Services, the SP 40 spreader is a popular choice. With over 13 tonnes spreading force at the working tip, and a large 710 mm opening, this is an ideal tool for rescue work, weighing only 20 kg.
The highest capacity spreader in the range is the SP 60, with over 25 tonnes spreading force capability at the working tip.
Rescue Rams
Weber-Hydraulik has six rams available within its range (three standard and three telescopic). When used in conjunction with a sill support, a ram enables a dashboard to be pushed forward easily, creating additional rescue space.
Combination Tools
Combination tools are not always associated with heavy rescue work, but Weber-Hydraulik has set new standards with the SPS 400 Super Combination Tool.
If a customer does not have the space (or the budget) for two dedicated tools, then this new combination tool has the performance to tackle the toughest of rescue work, with a maximum cutting force of over 50 tonnes, and over 70 tonnes maximum spreading force at the arm. In addition to these benefits, the working tips of the blades/arms can be removed quickly to enable unrestricted cutting, or to enable attachment of pulling chains.
Battery Operated Rescue Tools
First introduced over 10 years ago, battery operated rescue tools have been developed and enhanced by Weber-Hydraulik since 1997.
The "Freedom" range offers three main rescue tools. The S 180A Cutter supplying over 41 tonnes cutting force; the SP 35A Spreader weighing only 22 kg, and providing over 10 tonnes force; and the popular SPS 330A Combination Tool.
Supplied by a 12 volt battery Energy Pack, the tools offer instant response with virtually no set-up time, no hydraulic hoses to contend with, and super-quiet rescue work. This range is ideal for remote incidents, and operation within tunnels, buildings, and confined spaces.
