Engineering and Design
Following receipt of an order for a new vehicle, the design process is formally commenced. All aspects of the specification are considered to ensure that the final product meets the customers' requirements and also the necessary elements of applicable regulations, legislation and recommendations.
All elements of the vehicle design are considered at this stage. Each new design is the subject of detailed weight distribution calculations ensuring that the fully laden vehicle is operating within it's design parameters and legal limits.
Drawings, Bills of Material, and system schematics are produced to instruct the Manufacturing Department. Designs are fully traceable and can be fully supported with concise operating, maintenance and spare parts information.
3-D Computer Modelling
To assist the design process, state-of-the-art 3D computer modelling software is employed to produce graphical solutions which can be discussed with the customer prior to production commencing. Design concepts can be reviewed, discussed and adjusted to suit the customer's needs.
